The Durango Riot is a hard rock band from Karlskoga , Sweden .
history
The four-piece band was founded in 2005 in the small town of Karlskoga in Sweden. From the beginning of their career, still without a booker, they have already toured Germany. They then went on support tours with bands like Social Distortion , Die Toten Hosen , Billy Talent , The Soundtrack of Our Lives , The Offspring , Kraftklub and, from 2012, the Donots .
Her second album Backwards Over Midnight was produced by Joe Barresi ( Queens of the Stone Age , Tool etc.). The musical style is characterized by powerful guitars with occasional solos and powerful drums. The music offers well thought-out variety and is rich in ideas that are borrowed from a rock universe that is not too narrowly defined and skilfully interpreted.
The third album Face was released on August 29, 2014 via Last Bullet / Soulfood .
At the end of October 2014 the band played as support on the German tour of the Swedish band Mustasch .
A headline tour through Germany followed in early 2015.
