history

The genesis

The Dynamite Daze were founded in 2010 by the four band members from the formation The Boogaloo Kings. The aim was to create a personal, musical style with only my own compositions. Music such as that of Screamin Jay Hawkins , Tom Waits or Captain Beefheart served as a template . The styles were crossed with classic blues rock and the corresponding live program was developed in the following years. Already in the first year you could see where the musical journey was going. The Dynamite Daze played over 50 gigs in Germany and neighboring countries.

The Xtraordinary Tour 2013-2016

In the years 2010–2013, the four wrote over 40 new songs. In collaboration with the Stormy Monday Records label, they released 20 of the songs on the two albums Scarecrows On Rampage and Tango With The Devil . Since then, The Dynamite Daze have been performing their live program on their Xtraordinary tour with titles from the two albums and pieces from their early days. The music magazine Guitar and Bass described your music as a mixture of Paul Butterfield and Andy Warhol's Factory . In the summer of 2015 Colin Jamieson and Diddy D celebrated their 20-year musical journey together and the band decided to appoint Colin Jamieson as the namesake and age president of Dynamite Daze. The band was quickly renamed Colin Jamieson's Dynamite Daze.
