Sky Busters (OT: The Flyboys ) is an American adventure film from 2008 with Stephen Baldwin and Tom Sizemore .

action

Kyle moves to another city with his mother and meets his new friend Jason at school, whom he helps to get through against harassment.

Jason takes him to the nearby airport where his uncle Ed works. Out of curiosity, the two climb into an old propeller plane. When they notice two men approaching the machine, they hide in the hold to avoid being spotted. Contrary to expectations, the plane takes off, and the two friends are shocked to discover that the machine is heading for a mountain without a driver. They also discover a bomb hidden in a pocket. You can, however, throw the bomb out of the aircraft in good time and make an emergency landing on a country road safely.

The owner of the machine, Angelo Esposito, wants to thank the two boys and invites them to his villa. He promises them that he will grant any wish they may have. But Silvio - Angelo's brother - and his accomplice Lenny kidnap the two of them to prevent them from betraying them; because the two men had planned the destruction of the plane and were apparently seen by Kyle and Jason.

Silvio feels guilty and regrets cheating on his brother. He wants to tell him everything, but Lenny is against it and shoots Silvio in an affect. Lenny forces the two boys to return to the airfield with him. There he meets the pilot Ed, who is forced to start the machine and fly to Mexico. When Lenny tries to throw the two boys off the plane at a great height, Ed reacts immediately and pulls the machine around. He manages to turn on the autopilot and overwhelm Lenny. When Kyle is pushed off the plane, Ed and Jason jump off the plane with only one parachute. In free fall, Ed manages to strap on the parachute and pull the two boys to him. All three get safely to the ground, where they meet Angelo a little later. His brother had previously confessed everything on the phone - just before he succumbed to his gunshot wounds. Out of gratitude, Angelo gives the pilot a new aircraft in which the two boys can fly at any time.
