The Hangover ( English for the " hangover " is) the fourth solo album of American rapper Obie Trice . It was released on August 7, 2015 through his own independent label Black Market Entertainment.

Obie Trice served as executive producer on the album himself and also produced a number of tracks. The instrumentals for the songs come from the music producers Mr. Porter , iRock, Geno XO, Magnedo7, Mills, Doeski Babi and Malik Mausi.

Cover design

The album cover shows a framed mural composed of snippets of the covers of Obie Trice's three previous solo albums Cheers , Second Round's on Me and Bottoms Up . At the bottom right of the picture is the word The Hangover in green letters .

Other artists besides Obie Trice are represented on seven songs on the album. Thus dealer working with rappers Young Buck and Tone Tone, whereas so high the singer Drey is heard Skonie. For So Long is Obie Trice from Detroit supports singer Gwenation, and the rapper J-Nutty is at Detroit State of Mind represented. The only single Good Girls was released on June 16, 2015 for download via iTunes . The song Same Shit was released on the Internet on February 15th . Also, the song Dealer was released on July 17, 2015.

“The title is actually a suitable description of a thoroughly constructed record that seems to have fallen out of time in 2015: It really can't add anything to the overseas rap that is currently flourishing in all branches. On the contrary: She uses every nook and cranny in order to ultimately serve a lukewarm mish-mash between insignificance and false pride. Obie Trice of course remains a sovereign rapper nonetheless, who delivers solid parts over the entire season.
