The 3Arena is a concert and events arena in the Irish capital Dublin . In addition to concerts, there are also stand-up comedy , musical , show and sporting events. The hall is operated by the US media company Live Nation .
history
The hall was built on the site of the former Point Theater and opened in December 2008. The arena offers a total of 14,500 guests standing and seating. With full seating there is space for 9,500 visitors in the 3Arena. The fan-shaped arrangement of the audience seats facing the stage is reminiscent of an ancient Greek theater .
So far, Lady Gaga , Gary Barlow , Katy Perry , Red Hot Chili Peppers , Peter Kay , Coldplay , Tina Turner , AC / DC , Beyoncé Knowles , Whitney Houston , Iron Maiden , Guns N 'Roses , Prince and many others have been in the hall more occurred.
