The Return of Joe Rich is an American television movie from 2011 . Directed by Sam Auster , who also wrote the script.

action

The Italian - and Jewish -stämmige Joe, a young man with limited success, returns to his separation to his native Chicago ; a place where he thinks he can still find real and respectable men. With full admiration for the Mafia , power hungry Joe tries to convince his charismatic uncle Dominic, who is part of the Chicago Mafia, to let him become part of the family and he will do anything to make it happen. It's going well until Joe makes a mistake and is punished. Now he wants to take revenge on his uncle and kidnaps him with his best friend. But that's when the trouble really begins.

The film is commented on by "Chicago boys" aged 73 to 89 who lived in real life in Chicago in the 1930s, 1940s and 1950s and describe this type of life in the area and with mafia films such as The Godfather or the series Die Compare Sopranos .
