Mahnburg is a district of the city of Wittingen in Lower Saxony .
geography
Mahnburg is around 1.5 kilometers east of Hagen , three kilometers south of Kakerbeck and four kilometers northeast of Küstorf in the Gifhorn district . In the south is the test site Ehra-Lessien of Volkswagen AG . Mahnburg has 99 inhabitants (as of 2013).
history
At the end of the 1920s, Mahnburg was incorporated into Hagen near Knesebeck. On March 1, 1974, the municipality of Hagen bei Knesebeck came to the municipality of Knesebeck , which became part of the city of Wittingen a month later.
