Eutzen is a district of the city of Wittingen in the district of Gifhorn in Lower Saxony .
geography
The place is located southwest of the core area of Wittingen.
The Elbe Lateral Canal runs west of the village and flows the 43.1 km long Ise , which flows into the Aller in Gifhorn .
Southeast of the city, the 110 extends ha large nature reserve Born fraction Moor .
The B 244 runs north of the village.
history
On March 1, 1974, Eutzen was incorporated into the municipality of Knesebeck together with the former municipalities of Hagen bei Knesebeck , Vorhop and Wunderbüttel . On April 1, 1974, this enlarged community was dissolved and incorporated into the city of Wittingen.

Culture and sights
The Protestant St. George's Church is a rectangular field stone building that dates from the 14th century. The polygonal choir made of field and bricks dates from the 15th century. The west tower from 1868 is made of red and yellow bricks.
