Samuel "Sam" Stewart Witwer (born October 20, 1977 in Glenview , Illinois ) is an American actor and voice actor .

Life

Sam Witwer began his career in 2001 with one-off appearances on various television series , including an episode of Emergency Room and Navy CIS . In the period 2004 to 2005 he took over a recurring part for the first time and was seen in eleven episodes of Battlestar Galactica . Again appearances in television series followed, and finally in 2006 Crank made his first small appearance in a cinema production. The following year a larger role in the Stephen King film The Fog followed . Nevertheless, the focus of his involvement has been on television ever since, so he had guest appearances in Dexter and CSI: On the trail of the perpetrators and a larger role in Smallville .

From 2011 to 2014 Witwer was seen in a leading role in the US remake Being Human of the British television series of the same name . Witwer also works as a voice actor in English-speaking countries, for example he spoke in both parts of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Starkiller, or Galen Malek and Palpatine , to whom he should continue to lend his voice. He was also active as a voice actor in other Star Wars media, for example from 2011 to 2013 in the animated television series Star Wars: The Clone Wars again as Imperator Palpatine and Darth Maul . Since 2015 he has been setting both characters back to music in the Disney animation series Star Wars: Rebels .
