Most of the albums were released on Hellcat Records , a sub-label of Epitaph Records . Better Late than never was originally released on the New York label Moon Ska Records (currently only the European branch Moon Ska Europe exists. Label boss and singer of the New York band The Toasters Robert "Bucket" Hingley has long since had a new record company with Megalith Records opened). Already for the second regular studio album Redlight the Slackers (like some other bands, e.g. the Pietasters) switched to Tim Armstrong's label Hellcat on the west coast. The other regular studio albums were released there. The disc Self Medication , released in 2008, was surprisingly released on Indication Records and in Europe on moanin '(LP on Special Potato Records). The last album The Radio was released in the USA on the Whatevski label in Europe again on moanin 'and in Japan on the Ska In The World label with a different order of the tracks under the title Ganbare (Japanese: Give your best). However, the band expressly does not rule out a future collaboration with Tim Armstrong and Hellcat. According to the band, the change of label only has to do with the desired release date of the record.
