Titular diocese of Themiscyra
Themiscyra ( Italian : Temiscira ) is a titular bishopric of the Roman Catholic Church .
It is named after the ancient city of Themiskyra , which was in the Roman province of Asia or Helenopontos , near the present day Terme in the province of Samsun in Turkey. The bishopric was assigned to the ecclesiastical province of Amasea .
