Career

Hannon, who starts for SC Bois d'Amont, made his international debut at FIS junior competitions in his home town of Bois-d'Amont in March 2008. From January 2009 he started in the Nordic Combined Alpine Cup . In the individual competitions in Schonach, however, only the back places remained for him . For two years he could not prevail in the competition.

At the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships 2011 in Otepää , Estonia , he did not get beyond a 33rd place in Gundersen over 10 kilometers and a 43rd place in Gundersen over 5 kilometers. On February 6, 2011, he made it to a top 30 place in the Alpine Cup for the first time in Kranj . However, it took another year until Hannon was able to build on these achievements with a 16th place on January 21, 2012 in Hinterzarten . Shortly afterwards, in Kranj, he made it into the top ten with places six and seven.

At the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships 2013 in Erzurum , he reached places 27 and 32 in the individual and 10th place in the team competition with the team. In September he made it onto the podium for the first time in Winterberg . After further good placements, he repeated this success in December in Seefeld in Tyrol .

A short time later he won the silver medal in the Gundersen singles over five kilometers at the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in Liberec . Over 10 kilometers he reached 22nd place. In February 2013 Hannon made his debut in the Continental Cup of Nordic Combined . In both competitions in Eisenerz and also in both competitions in Planica he achieved good top 20 and top 10 placements. Despite this success, he started again in the Alpine Cup in Chaux-Neuve before making his debut in the Nordic Combined World Cup on March 15, 2013 . He reached 39th place in Oslo .

At the French Ski Jumping Championships in 2013 he won the gold medal from the normal hill in Chaux-Neuve after finishing sixth in the individual team competition together with Jason Lamy Chappuis , Samuel Guy and Ronan Lamy Chappuis .
