Theo tenth

Theo Zehnter (born September 6, 1929 in Bamberg ; † January 26, 2017 ) was a German farmer and politician ( CSU ).

Tenth attended elementary school and the agricultural vocational school and later continued his education at an agricultural college and the Catholic rural community college at Feuerstein Castle . In 1959 he successfully passed the examination to become an agricultural master. In 1965 he took over his parents' farm. At the Association of Agricultural College Graduates , Zehnter was from 1962 to 1977 chairman in the district of Kronach and from 1972 district chairman of Upper Franconia and deputy state chairman. He was a member of the board of the Kulmbach-Kronach dairy cooperative and was chairman of the supervisory board of the Bayreuth dairy farm . At the BBV he became district chairman of the Kronach district association and vice-president in 1977, and then president of the Upper Franconia district association in 1982. From 1992 to 1997 he was Vice President of the BBV.

Tenth was chairman of the CSU local association in Haig for around a quarter of a century . From 1966 to 1996 he belonged to the Kronach district council and the local council, first from Haig, later from Stockheim , and was also second and third mayor for many years. From 1984 until its dissolution in 1999, he was a member of the Bavarian Senate for the Agriculture and Forestry Group. He was also a representative on the Board of Trustees of the Bavarian State Foundation and on the Broadcasting Council of Bayerischer Rundfunk .
