Theodoric I. (Paderborn)
Theodorich I (also Theodor , Dietrich ) († December 8, 916 ) was Bishop of Paderborn from 908 to 916 .
Hardly a source has come down to us about his life and activities. During his time the Hungarian invasions and the disputes between the Saxon and Franconian duchies fall . When Duke Heinrich rose up against King Konrad , the Saxon bishops sided with Heinrich. At the Eresburg ( Marsberg ) in the Diocese of Paderborn there was a bloody feud in 915 , in which Theodoric is said to have participated in the fighting.
Theodoric is very likely buried in Paderborn Cathedral .
