Theodor Guggenberger (born December 31, 1866 in Munich ; † December 6, 1929 there ) was a German painter .

Life

Theodor Otto Michael Guggenberger was a son of the painter Thomas Guggenberger . Presumably he received his training at the Munich Art Academy . Guggenberger married in 1889.

Guggenberger was a theater , landscape and architectural painter . His watercolors were often reproduced lithographically and used as motifs for postcards . Guggenberger designed paper theaters for Schreiber-Verlag and created caricatures for Die Fliegende Blätter . The Leipzig City History Museum has numerous arches from Guggenberger's hand. 1909 was a funny year of the animals by Gustav Falke out with illustrations by Theodor Guggenberger. For the Bavarian State Exhibition 2016 Beer in Bavaria , films were made with Luise Kinseher , who could be seen as a Bavarian waitress in a Guggenberger decoration.
