Theodor Milberg

Theodor Heinrich Milberg (born June 30, 1889 in Augustenhof, district of Heringsdorf , † August 17, 1972 in Quarnbek ) was a German farmer , landowner and politician ( DNVP ).

Life

After graduating from high school, Milberg began studying law at the universities of Oxford , Munich and Kiel , which he completed with the first state examination in law. He was active in agriculture and owned a manor in Quarnbek near Achterwehr . In addition, he was a member of the Schleswig-Holstein Chamber of Agriculture and chairman of the Federation of Farmers for the Province of Schleswig-Holstein . In the 1920s he became honorary chairman of the association.

During the time of the Weimar Republic , Milberg joined the German National People's Party (DNVP). In the state elections in February 1921, December 1924 and May 1928 he was elected as a member of the Prussian state parliament. In parliament he represented constituency 13 (Schleswig-Holstein). Due to his conversion to the NSDAP , he left the state parliament prematurely in 1928. Later he was mayor of the Quarnbek community.

The actor Axel Milberg (* 1956) is his grandson.
