Theodore Owusu Asare (born April 11, 1903 ; † unknown) was a Ghanaian diplomat .

Career

Asare was a descendant of the Ashanti and taught history and social sciences at the Presbyterian Boys' Senior High School in Odumase Krobo between 1926 and 1928 . As a Bachelor of Civil Law (BCL) and Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.), Asare worked as a lawyer in and around New York City in the 1930s and 1940s, and between 1950 and 1952 he represented American companies in commercial matters in France and West Africa. After the establishment of diplomatic relations with the Federal Republic of Germany on July 14, 1959, Asare was accredited as ambassador in Bonn until 1961 . Between March 13, 1962 and 1965/66 he was appointed ambassador of the Republic of Ghana in the Liberian capital Monrovia .

Asare had been married to Henrietta Burks since 1937.
