Eichhorn made her debut in the Alpencup in December 2008 in St. Ulrich am Pillersee , where, after finishing 46th in the sprint and 62nd in the 5 km freestyle, she achieved her first top 20 result as nineteenth in the 7.5 km classic race . At the Junior World Championships in 2011 in Otepää , she won the bronze medal with the German relay. Eichhorn achieved her first top ten result in the Alpine Cup in December 2012 with ninth place over 10 km classic in Goms . A week later she celebrated her first victory in the Alpine Cup in the 10 km mass start race in the classic technique in Ortisei am Pillersee. At the end of December 2012 Eichhorn made her debut in the World Cup at the Tour de Ski 2012/13 ; she missed the points on the first two stages and did not start again for the third part of the race. At the beginning of 2013, Eichhorn achieved further top ten placements in the Alpine Cup with sixth place in the skiathlon in Oberwiesenthal, sixth place over 5 km classic and ninth place in the subsequent 10 km freestyle pursuit in Rogla . In the 2014/15 season , she placed eighth over 10 km classic in Campra once again among the top ten. At the start of the 2015/16 Alpine Cup in Prémanon , Eichhorn finished fifth in the 10 km freestyle and achieved her second podium finish in the Alpine Cup as second in the 10 km classic race. In the further course of the season she achieved second place in the pursuit race in Campra and at the end of the season she finished fifth in the overall ranking of the Alpine Cup. In the 2016/17 season she came in second and twice in first place in the Alpine Cup and thus achieved second place in the overall ranking. In March 2017 she got her first World Cup points in the 30 km mass start race with 28th place in Oslo .
