Thomas Bade

Thomas Bade (* 1963 in Vienna , Austria ) is a German journalist and television presenter .

Life

After graduating from high school, Bade studied journalism , psychology and American studies at the Couven grammar school in Mainz . He completed his traineeship at NDR . He later presented the Hamburg Journal program . In 1997, as the successor to Claus-Erich Boetzkes , he took over the moderation of the broadcast Nachtmagazin on ARD , which he moderated alternately with Katharina Wolkenhauer until the end of 2005 . They were replaced by Gabi Bauer and Anja Bröker .

Since January 2006, Bade has moderated the news at tagesschau24 on tagesschau24 and is editor of the Tagesschau . Thomas Bade has been a presenter for the Phoenix broadcaster since September 2011 .

Thomas Bade lived in Hamburg between 1991 and 2011 ; he currently lives in Bonn.
