Thomas Burth

Thomas Burth (* 21st February 1934 in Radolfzell ; † 22. February 2000 in Minseln ) was a German author , the most in bodenseealemannischer but dialect in standard German wrote.

Life

Thomas Burth used to live in Bankholzen (municipality of Moos on Lake Constance , on the Höri peninsula ), later he moved to Schopfheim in southern Baden , where he founded the International Mouth Art Literature Workshop Schopfheim in 1989 together with the writer and poet Markus Manfred Jung . Most recently he lived in the Minseln district of the city of Rheinfelden (Baden) . He was a member of the Southwest Literature Forum in Freiburg im Breisgau, the International Dialect Institute (IDI) in Innsbruck and the International Bodensee Club (literature department) in Constance.
