Thomas Höltschl (born April 30, 1990 in Linz ) is an Austrian football player on the position of midfielder . He is also an offensive all-rounder.

Career

Höltschl began his career with the ASKÖ Blaue Elf Linz in Upper Austria . In 1999 he switched to the LASK youth team . In 2004 he came to the Linz Football Academy.

In May 2007 he made his debut for the professionals of his home club LASK in the second division when he was substituted on for Ali Hamdemir on the 32nd matchday of the 2006/07 season against TSV Hartberg in the half-time break . At the end of the season he was promoted to the Bundesliga with LASK .

In October 2007 he finally played against Union Rohrbach / Berg for the first time for the LASK amateurs in the Upper Austrian League . In November 2007 he was used for the last time in the AKA Linz.

In November 2008 he made his debut in the Bundesliga when he came on as a substitute for Thomas Prager in the 87th minute at the home game of Linz against SK Sturm Graz on the 17th matchday of the 2008/09 season ; Linz lost the game 3-0.

In 2010, Höltschl and the LASK amateurs were promoted to second place in the Upper Austrian League in the 2009/10 season in the Regional League . In the promotion season he completed 25 games in which he scored nine goals. With the LASK professionals, he had to relegate from the Bundesliga in 2011.

He then moved to the second division club FC Blau-Weiß Linz for the 2011/12 season . With BW Linz he had to relegate to the regional league in 2013.

After relegation, he joined the regional league team Union St. Florian in the summer of 2013 . For St. Florian he played in 28 regional league games in the 2013/14 season and scored seven goals.

For the 2014/15 season he moved to the Regionalliga West for TSV Neumarkt . In that season he played 14 games in the Regionalliga, but remained without a goal.

After a season at Neumarkt, he returned to Upper Austria in 2015 and joined the fourth-class Union Vöcklamarkt . With Vöcklamarkt he rose to the regional league in 2017.
