Thomas Heinrich von Wickede (* 1632 in Kastorf ; † December 21, 1676 ibid) was a councilor of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck .

Life

Wickede was the son of the mayor of Lübeck, Gottschalk von Wickede . From 1646 he studied law at the University of Rostock and completed his studies in 1651 with Hermann Conring at the University of Helmstedt . Since 1658 he was a member of the patrician Lübeck Circle Society and was elected councilor in Lübeck in 1672.

He married Agnete Köhler, daughter of the lawyer mayor of Lübeck, Anton Köhler . Your portrait is in the Koehler ancestral gallery . The sons Thomas Heinrich von Wickede (1659–1734), Johann von Wickede (1664–1732) and Gottschalk Anton von Wickede (1657–1704) emerged from the marriage. His grandson was Gotthard Gottschalk von Wickede .

He inherited the Lübsche Gut Kastorf from his father ; on the part of his wife, the Bliestorf estate was added. With his death, Bliestorf fell to his son Thomas Heinrich and Kastorf to Gottschalk Anton. Shortly after the death of the grandson Gotthard Gottschalk, both of the family's possessions were lost and became Hanoverian through the comparison of 1747 with the Electorate of Braunschweig-Lüneburg.
