Thomas Prange

Thomas Prange (born March 25, 1974 in Minden ) is a former German athlete and bobsleigh athlete as well as today's athletics trainer at LC Paderborn .

Athletic career

Prange was in Lübeck in 1996 with 10.54 s German junior champion over the 100-meter sprint distance. This was followed by annual qualifications for the German championships with multiple finals. He also works as a trainer in the sprint department.

Thomas Prange was also successful as a pusher in bobsleigh . In 2004 he became German champion in Hartl Sanktjohanser's four-man bobsleigh in Altenberg together with Kai Kaufmann and Christian Reppe . In the same year , the team took third place in the four-bobsleigh World Cup in St. Moritz . In 2009 he won the international start competitions in Ilsenburg with the US sprinter Abraham Morlu (PB: 10.22 s). Thomas Prange supervises a. a. the bobsleigh team Karl Angerer , which was nominated for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver after a successful World Cup season . In 2011 , the Karl Angerer team won the silver medal at the four-man bobsleigh World Championships in Königssee . The athletes Karl Angerer, Alexander Mann , Gregor Bermbach and Christian Friedrich achieved the fastest start time in three races.
