Thomas Reif (born August 13, 1971 ) is a former German football player from the GDR .

career

Thomas Reif was in the squad of Hansa Rostock from 1990 , with whom he won the last championship title of the old GDR league a year later , which was dissolved due to German reunification . In the same year, the last FDGB Cup was won .

In the following season, Reif appeared with Rostock in the Bundesliga , but without being used. In the following season in the second division he came only to three games, whereupon he left the club.

Reif's further club career took place at lower-class clubs from Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . The championship of the Association League Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania , which he won in 2002 with TSG Neustrelitz , was a success .
