Thomas Wöbke

Thomas Wöbke (born February 21, 1962 in Munich ) is a German film producer .

Wöbke initially worked as a freelancer for television and then studied at the University of Television and Film in Munich .

In 1992, together with Jakob Claussen , he founded the production company Claussen & Wöbke in Munich , which has been operating as Claussen + Wöbke + Putz Filmproduktion since 2003 with co-partner Uli Putz . In 2010 Thomas Wöbke left the management at his own request, but remained a partner in CP and works as a freelance producer with his own company.

In 1996 Wöbke won the Bavarian Film Prize for Nach Fünf im Urwald , 2004 for Lights and 2009 for Krabat .

In 2003 he was one of the founding members of the German Film Academy .
