Thorsten Naumann

Thorsten Naumann (born August 12, 1971 in Hagen ) is a former German long-distance runner .

In 1995, he came at the IAAF World Half Marathon Championships in Belfort is ranked 71 and at the European Cross Country Championships in Alnwick on rank 40. The following year, he finished at the IAAF World Cross Country Championships in Stellenbosch place 156 in the Cross Country Championships in Charleroi space 40 and won the Trier New Year's Eve run . At the Universiade 1997 he won the silver medal over 5000 meters and reached fourth place over 10,000 meters.

In 1997, 1999 and 2000 he was German champion over 10,000 meters .

Naumann started for TuS Mayen (1988-94), LAV Bayer Uerdingen / Dormagen (1995-97) and USC Mainz (from 1998).
