Thorsten Teichert

Thorsten Teichert (* 1963 in Berlin ) is a German economist and professor for business administration, especially marketing and innovation, at the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences at the University of Hamburg .

Life

Thorsten Teichert studied engineering at the Technical University of Berlin and obtained a degree in engineering . This was followed by an MBA at Union College in Schenectady , New York in the United States of America (USA).

In 1993 , Teichert received his doctorate from the Christian Albrechts University in Kiel . The topic of his dissertation was the potential for success in international R&D collaborations . Teichert also worked as a Research Fellow at the Fuqua School of Business in Durham (North Carolina) in the USA.

In 2000 he completed his habilitation at the WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management in Koblenz . Teichert chose benefit estimation in conjoint analyzes as the topic of his habilitation thesis . Theoretical foundation and empirical information .

Thorsten Teichert is the head of the Marketing and Innovation department at the Institute for Marketing and Media at the University of Hamburg. His main practical activities include an employment as an assistant to the management at INPRO GmbH in Berlin.
