Thorsten Vienna

Thorsten Vienna (born December 4, 1969 in Hamburg ) is a German actor and filmmaker.

Life

Thorsten Wien completed an apprenticeship at the Stage School in Hamburg after graduating from high school Christianeum and working as a paramedic at the Arbeiter Samariter Bund . After a few appearances in the independent theater scene and the first television roles, including on the side of Heiner Lauterbach in the ZDF series "Faust" , he became through his continuous role as conservationist Kai in the ZDF evening series "Gezeiten der Liebe" at the Page known from Rüdiger Joswig .

In the mid-1990s, he expanded his field of work to include positions behind the camera, moved to London and worked as an assistant director. After graduating from the London Film School , his short films "Calus" and "Small Killing" were shown at international film festivals. Thorsten Vienna spent the years 2007 to 2009 in South Africa and, in addition to appearing in international advertising films for Holsten, Postbank, Nicorette and De Danske Bank, was also head of the acting department of the AFDA film school in Cape Town .

After returning to his hometown Hamburg in 2009, he founded the production company Hansafilm Production with the affiliated Hansafilm Academy and the acting agency Hansafilm Young Talents, in order to also take over the supervisory board chairmanship of MOM United AG and the management of Visual Art Germany GmbH in 2010.

At the same time, he is also in front of the camera, directed by Daniel Krauss in the film "Where it hurts" alongside Antoine Monot jr. played and was seen in the leading role of Paul Leinert in the film "Zerrumpelt Herz" at the Venice International Film Festival 2014 and the Hof Film Festival .
