Three Hits from Hell (sometimes also 3 Hits from Hell ) is the fifth EP by the American horror punk band The Misfits .

Emergence

All tracks were recorded during a session on August 7, 1980 in the Master Sound Production studio. This also resulted in recordings for a studio album , which was never officially released. Parts of it can be heard reworked on 12 Hits from Hell . On September 5th, individual recordings were selected and remastered .

At this time Paul Doyle Caiafa , later guitarist of the group, was already rehearsing together with Glenn Danzig and his older brother, Jerry Only . According to Bobby Steele, he should have become a member of the band after these recordings and already recorded titles for the publication.

Gdansk wrote London Dungeon while serving a sentence in a London prison. Horror Hotel was inspired by the film of the same name (original title: City Of The Dead ), Ghouls Night Out by Night Of The Ghouls .
