Legacy of Brutality is a compilation by the American horror punk band The Misfits and the group's first release on the Caroline Records record label .

Emergence

All songs come from sessions for the planned debut album Static Age , which was only released in 1997. Tracks 1–8 were provided with new guitar and bass tracks by Danzig and remastered to avoid paying royalties to former group members.

The entire album was re-released on the second CD of the box set .
