Thrice Mice
Thrice Mice was a German jazz rock band that was founded in 1966 by the brothers Rainer and Werner von Gosen and Arno Bredehöft in Hamburg . Their style can be assigned to the early progressive or " Krautrock ". Straightforward, melodic rock pieces were interspersed and enriched with improvising solos, jazz elements, technical effects, complex saxophone duets and big band-like wind instruments.
The initially local success was followed in 1970 by an appearance at the legendary Love and Peace Festival on Fehmarn. In 1972 the group broke up after Rainer von Gosens left. Werner von Gosen and Karl-Heinz Blumenberg continued the style of Thrice Mice with the Altona group .
