Tikhon Ivanovich Ababkov

Tichon Ivanovich Ababkow ( Russian Абабков, Тихон Иванович ; born August 15, 1908 in the village of Koronez, Mogilev Governorate , Russian Empire ; † September 13, 1984 in Moscow ) was a Soviet functionary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union (CPSU).

Life

Ababkow, who became a member of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union (CPSU) in 1929, was initially head of the propaganda department and secretary of the Komsomol youth organization in Kalatinskogo in Sverdlovsk Oblast . In 1929 he began studying at the Sverdlovsk College of Mining and Metallurgy and graduated in 1939. He then became a master craftsman in the metallurgical plant in Krasnouralsk in 1939 and was most recently director of the training center and the vocational school of this plant until 1939. He then became a full-time party functionary of the CPSU in 1938 and initially acted as first secretary of the city party committee of Kirovgrad and, after studying at the party college for organization, in 1939 section head in the Central Committee (ZK) of the Communist Party of the Kazakh Socialist Soviet Republic .

Ababkow then served as First Secretary of the Ridder City Party Committee between 1940 and June 1941 and Secretary of the Central Committee of the KP of the Kazakh SSR for Non-Ferrous Metals from June 26, 1941 to August 1943, before becoming Deputy Central Committee Secretary for Non-Ferrous Metals between August 1943 and January 1945 KP of the Kazakh SSR was. In 1947 he became first secretary of the Communist Party Committee of Karaganda Oblast and held this position until 1952. For his services Ababkow was awarded the Order of the Great Patriotic War , the Badge of Honor of the Soviet Union and the medal "For heroic work in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945" .
