The Tiene is a right tributary of the Radegast in northwest Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .
The flowing water rises on the west bank of the Wedendorfer See , which is fed, among other things, by the Kellerbäk. In an initially westerly direction of flow, the brook runs through an erosion valley with steep slopes and a mill pond in Köchelstorfer Mühle . The building of the former water mill, built in 1826, has been used as a residential building since 1995. The section of the river is in the conservation area Köchelstorfer mill including Vedas Dorfer lake . It was placed under protection as early as 1956 with the aim of preserving the mill as a popular excursion destination at the time and the hiking trail to the Wedendorfer manor house in a scenic location.
In the north-westerly direction of flow, the Tiene meanders on the municipal boundary between Wedendorfersee and Rehna. The stream is straightened from the level of the Rehnaer district Brützkow. On meadows, the water runs east past Rehna and takes in several drainage ditches. Already in the nature reserve Radegasttal the Tiene leads 1.5 kilometers north of the city center in the Rehnaer Radegast.
