Timothy John "Tim" Dwight Jr. (* 13. July 1975 in Iowa City , Iowa ) is a former American American football poker players on the position of wide receiver . During his career he played for the Atlanta Falcons , San Diego Chargers , New England Patriots , New York Jets and Oakland Raiders in the National Football League (NFL).

Early years

Dwight attended high school in the city of his birth, Iowa City . He later attended the University of Iowa .

NFL

Atlanta Falcons

Dwight was selected in the fourth round of the 1998 NFL draft in 114th place by the Atlanta Falcons . In his first season he reached the Super Bowl with the Falcons. In that game, he managed a 94-yard kick-off-return touchdown .

San Diego Chargers

On April 20, 2000, Dwight was traded to the San Diego Chargers . Among other things, it enabled the Falcons to get Michael Vick in the 2000 NFL Draft after this trade .

New England Patriots

For the 2005 season he was signed by the New England Patriots .

New York Jets

After the season, Dwight signed a four-year deal with the New York Jets . However, he was released after one season.

Oakland Raiders

On October 29, 2007, he signed a one-year contract with the Oakland Raiders . After the season, he retired from professional football.
