Tim Elsner (born February 5, 1984 in Engelskirchen ) is a German volleyball player .

Career

Elsner started playing volleyball at TSV Much . He then received further training at the Frankfurt boarding school and played in the Bundesliga for the first time at VC Olympia Berlin . In 2003 he switched to evivo Düren . There he developed into a regular player as an outside attacker and was runner-up three times in a row from 2005 to 2007. Due to the successes he was able to gain international experience with the team in the Champions League . During this time Elsner also had some appearances in the German national team . In 2008 he was in the final of the DVV Cup with Düren . A year later he moved to Bundesliga competitor RWE Volleys Bottrop . With him Bottrop reached the play-offs of the Bundesliga twice and in 2011 the cup semi-finals. Before the 2011/12 season Elsner returned to Düren. In 2013 he moved to Moerser SC .
