Reviews

The editorial staff of www.prisonflicks.com criticized the script, the lack of character development and the camera work. The director is untalented. Film-Dienst wrote that the action film offered “few surprises in terms of content” , but that it stood out “due to the clever use of light and good camera work” . The “choice of the physically inconspicuous antihero” is proof of “some joke” . Failed were "attempts in the context of murder and manslaughter dialogues between the main characters in the style of screwball comedies to stage" .

Cinema magazine called the film "underground" .

The magazine TV Spielfilm 8/2008 scoffed that the “cheap copy” of Die Hard was “not extraterrestrial, but underground” . The film was declared the "flop of the day" . The "combination of dark story and comedy" does not work.
