Timo Çeçen (born May 17, 1994 in Wehrda ) is a German football player .
Career
society
After starting football at JSG Lohra and TSG Wieseck , Çeçen joined the youth team at Eintracht Frankfurt . From there, Timo Çeçen moved to the VfB Stuttgart youth training center in 2009 .
On August 4th, 2012 Timo Çeçen made his professional debut in the Mercedes-Benz Arena on the 3rd match day of the 2012/13 season for the second team of VfB Stuttgart in the 3rd division in a 2-0 home win against Karlsruher SC . In December 2012, Çeçen tore a cruciate ligament for the second time after suffering the injury in 2011. After he was rarely used in the first half of the 2014/15 season, he completed test training with third division competitors Chemnitzer FC and SG Sonnenhof Großaspach during the winter break . Then Çeçen moved to Chemnitz, but where he could not prevail. From February 1, 2016 he played for the regional league club FC 08 Homburg . After relegation of the Homburgers Çeçen Teutonia Watzenborn-Steinberg joined in the Hessen League . The club renamed itself a year later after a merger in FC Gießen . With the club he rose to the regional league as champion of the Hessenliga 2018/19 .
In April 2020, his move to Türk Gücü Friedberg became known.
National team
On May 21, 2009 Timo Çeçen made his debut against the USA for the German U-15 national team . For Germany's U-16 national team , Çeçen played his first game against Austria on August 16, 2009. For the German U-17 he made his debut on September 15, 2010 against the Netherlands. On May 22, 2012 Timo Çeçen stood against Russia for the first time for the U-18 national team of Germany on the field. For the German U-19 national team , he played for the first time in the first qualifying game for the U-19 European Championship 2013 on October 11, 2012 against Macedonia.
