Timo Ameruoso (born August 7, 1978 in Seeheim-Jugenheim ) is a German horse trainer and author . He gives lectures, workshops and trainings in Germany and Brazil. When he had a traffic accident with his Vespa on May 19, 1995 , he was seriously injured; since then he has been paraplegic from the 8th thoracic vertebra .

education

Ameruoso completed his apprenticeship as a draftsman in 2001 and worked in the profession he had learned until 2016.

Main areas of activity

After his paraplegia, Ameruoso had the goal of qualifying as a dressage rider for the Paralympics , but was no longer able to pursue this goal after a serious riding accident on July 28, 1999, after which he spent a long time in a coma.

Ameruoso was increasingly concerned with the nature of horses and dedicated himself to his work as a horse trainer. He gives telephone coaching and training for riders and horses, gives motivational lectures and seminars for large corporations and medium-sized companies. In July 2015, the Hessischer Rundfunk reported in a Facebook post of the Hessenschau about Ameruoso and the system of the autodynamic reflection principle he developed . Reports in social media and print and online media followed, for example from the daily newspaper Die Welt .

In 2015 he taught at the Brazilian Equine University Universidade do Cavalo . On November 17, 2017, Rowohlt Verlag published Ameruoso's book It's too late to give up! . In April 2018, the new edition of his horse book Seitenblicke followed by Rowohlt Verlag.

Ameruoso lives with his wife in Stockstadt am Rhein , Hesse.
