Timo Doleys (* 1976 in Göttingen ) is a German theater and film actor , cabaret artist and voice actor .

Life

Timo Doleys grew up in Lower Saxony and was about to study German in Cologne when he decided to become an actor. After graduating from high school, he studied at the drama school Theater der Keller in Cologne from 1996 to 2000 . He then took part in theater and film courses at the ZBF in Cologne. Between 2005 and 2006 Doleys studied at the Camera Actor's Studio Klaus Emmerich ( ISFF Berlin ). Since 1999 he has worked in various advertising and image films; the WDR engaged him several times as a voice actor for radio plays. In 2000 he made his debut on the theater stage and in 2001 in television films. Since 2006 he has been a member of the ensemble of the cabaret theater Die Distel on Friedrichstrasse in Berlin. Doleys plays double bass and guitar and had his singing voice ( tenor ) trained. He has been living in Berlin - Prenzlauer Berg for some time .
