Timothée Modibo-Nzockena

Timothée Modibo-Nzockena (born January 1, 1950 in Mbomo , Republic of the Congo , † March 24, 2016 ) was a Congolese clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Franceville in Gabon .

Life

Timothée Modibo-Nzockena received the sacrament of ordination for the diocese of Franceville on June 22, 1980 .

On November 8, 1996, Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Franceville. The Cardinal Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples , Jozef Tomko , donated him episcopal ordination on January 11, 1997 ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Libreville , André Fernand Anguilé , and the Bishop of Oyem , Basile Mvé Engone SDB .
