Timur Bayram Özgöz (born May 29, 1987 in Berlin ) is a German - Turkish soccer player .
Career
society
Özgöz was born in Berlin as the son of Turkish guest workers . Here he began playing football in the youth team of SSC Südwest in 1947 . He later played for the youth teams of SC Tasmania 1900 Berlin and Tennis Borussia Berlin . In 2006 he moved to the reserve team from 1. FC Kaiserslautern , to 1. FC Kaiserslautern II . After two years he moved to Torgelower SV Greif and from here to Tennis Borussia Berlin in 2009.
In the spring of 2011 he moved to the Turkish Süper Lig to MKE Ankaragücü and was immediately awarded to Bugsaş Spor , as he had previously been without a club for six months. For the 2011/12 season, Özgöz had himself loaned to the Berlin club BFC Viktoria 1889 . In summer 2012 he returned to Ankaragücü. In the 2012/13 season he made 31 league games and scored ten goals and prepared another six goals. He also played three cup games, to which he contributed three goals and two assists. These achievements aroused the interest of some well-known Süperlig clubs. On August 5, 2013, Özgöz signed a two-year contract with Sivasspor .
For the second half of the 2013/14 season he was loaned to the second division team Adana Demirspor and handed over to them in the summer of 2014. After he had been active for Demitspor until spring 2016, he played the second half of the 2015/16 season at league rivals Şanlıurfaspor .
National team
Özgöz was nominated for the Turkish national youth team early on. However, he refused these nominations and decided to play for the German youth national teams. He went through the German U-18 and U-19 national teams .

Trivia
Timur Bayram Özgöz also caused a stir next to the sports field when he donated his prize money from the game against Adanaspor to families in need in February 2013. Not only the gesture, but also the fact that the player himself had been waiting for salary payments for several months met with great interest and applause.
