Titular diocese of Medea
Medea is a titular bishopric of the Roman Catholic Church . It goes back to an earlier diocese in the city of Salmydessos (later Medeia , today Kıyıköy in the European part of Turkey), which belonged to the ecclesiastical province of Herakleia Sintike .
