Titular diocese of Metrae
Metrae ( Italian : Meter ) is a titular bishopric of the Roman Catholic Church .
It goes back to a submerged bishopric in the ancient city of the same name, which was in the Roman province of Europe (European part of today's Turkey ). The bishopric belonged to the ecclesiastical province of Heraclea Sintica .
