Tleson (.. Active around 555-535 BC) was an Attic pottery and maybe vase painter of the Attic - black-figure style. He was the son of the famous potter Nearchus and brother of Ergoteles .

Tleson is considered a "classic" little master . Mainly Kleinmeister bowls were made in his workshop . He had most of his works painted by the Tleson painter who is not known by name and is now named after him . Because all the vessels painted by this artist so far only have the signature of Tleson himself, John D. Beazley put forward the thesis that Tleson and the Tleson painter are identical. There is no proof of this. He also had a few works decorated by other artists, for example Oltos and the Centaur Painter . In his signature he always names his father: Tleson ho Nearcho epoiesen .
