Toatoa is a settlement in the Far North District in the Northland region ofthe North Island of New Zealand .

geography

The settlement is located around 17 km northeast of Kaitaia and around 7 km south of Doubtless Bay in a hilly landscape north of the Maungataniwha Range . The settlement is connected to the New Zealand State Highway 10 via a northbound country road that meets the highway at Aurere .
