Parapara is a small settlement in the Far North District of Northland on the North Island of New Zealand .
geography
The settlement is located around 17 km northeast of Kaitaia and around 5 km southwest of Taipa , on Doubtless Bay . The settlement has access to the New Zealand State Highway 10 via Aurere, which is 3 km north-northwest . The nearest small settlement Toatoa is just 4 km south .
