Tobias M. Huber

Tobias Marcellus Huber (born August 27, 1988 in Eggenfelden ) is a German film and advertising producer. In 2014 he won the student Oscar for the best foreign film with the film Nocebo .

Life

Growing up in Ampfing, Upper Bavaria, the son of Marcel Huber , he completed his military service in the mountain hunter battalion 231 in Bad Reichenhall after graduating from high school in 2008 . Since 2009 he has been studying production and media management at the HFF Munich and together with Severin Höhne founded the production company Menelaos Film , with which he made his graduation film, Nocebo , in addition to short film and advertising film projects. The latter won, among other things, the Student Oscar for the best foreign film ( Honorary Foreign Film Award ) from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in Los Angeles and was nominated in two categories for the Studio Hamburg Young Talent Award (Best Film, Best Production). Since 2012 he has been a scholarship holder of the collecting society for film and television producers, since 2013 a scholarship holder of the German Academic Exchange Service and winner of the Starter Film Prize of the City of Munich.
