Tobias Utter (born September 18, 1962 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a Hessian politician ( CDU ) and a member of the Hessian state parliament . He is the son of the former Lufthansa board member Werner Utter .

education and profession

Tobias Utter studied Ancient, Middle and New History as well as Political Science after graduating from the Model School in Frankfurt until 2001, albeit without a degree. Advanced training in the fields of: law, art, psychobiology, media and communication, human ecology, anthropology. After completing his studies, he worked as a research assistant for the CDU parliamentary group in the Hessian state parliament and since 2003 as a personal advisor to the president of the Hessian state parliament. Since August 2006, he has been a speaker and deputy head of the protocol, events, visitor service and publications of the Hessian state parliament.

Tobias Utter has been a member of the CDU since 1979. He is active in many board positions in the CDU. Since November 1st, 2007 he has been chairman of the CDU city association Bad Vilbel and since 1990 deputy district chairman of the CDU Wetterau. He is the deputy state chairman of the Evangelical Working Group of the CDU Hessen and a member of the federal executive committee of the EAK of the CDU / CSU.

In terms of local politics, he has been a city councilor in Bad Vilbel since 1985 . From 1993 to 2001 and from 2006 to 2011 he was a member of the Wetterau district assembly, where he was, among other things, deputy group chairman. From May 2001 to May 2006 he was an honorary district member of the Wetterau district.

With the state elections in Hesse in 2008 , members were elected to the Hessian state parliament in constituency 25 Wetterau Süd and confirmed in the state elections in Hesse in 2009 , 2013 and 2018 . He is the spokesman for his group on European and church politics.

Tobias Utter is a member of the Evangelical Church in Hesse and Nassau (EKHN). Since 1978 he has been involved in working with children and young people there. In 1985 and 1986 Utter trained to become a preacher (preacher). and in 1987 was authorized to serve as a professor. He is the initiator and person in charge of church different (worship services for distant people).

Tobias Utter was a member of the 9th, 10th and 11th Synod of the Evangelical Church in Hesse and Nassau (EKHN). During the 9th Synod he was a member of the Synodal Committee on Mission and Ecumenism and since the 10th Synod a member of the Designation Committee. From November 2006 to 2010 he was chairman of the designation committee. From 2010 to 2016 he was chairman of the committee for community development and membership orientation. Since March 2001 he has been President of the Ev. Deanery Wetterau (approx. 86,000 members). Since 2002 he has been chairman of the non-profit association of the Ev. Christ parish Bad Vilbel.
