Tomáš Čížek (born November 27, 1978 in Děčín ) is a Czech football player .
Career
Tomáš Čížek began playing football with Pelikán Děčín. At the age of 13 he moved to FK Teplice , but returned to Děčín after only one season. In 1995 the midfielder went to FK Jablonec . At the beginning of the 1997/98 season, Čížek was loaned to his former youth club Pelikán Děčín, but returned during the winter break. In the second half of the season he had his first appearances in the first division . In the following season Čížek played more and more often and was from 1999 a fixture in the midfield of Northern Bohemia.
At the beginning of 2002, Čížek finally moved to Sparta Prague for 11.5 million crowns. At Sparta Čížek initially played regularly, but in the first half of the 2002/03 season he was increasingly only on the bench.
In February 2003 Čížek was committed by the Russian first division club Rubin Kazan for three years. In early 2006 he moved to FK Moscow , where he again signed a three-year contract. In February 2009 Čížek moved to FK Jablonec .
Already in March 2009 Čížek went back to Russia and joined the second division side Alania Wladikawkas . Čížek returned to Jablonec in September 2009 . In early 2010, Čížek moved again to Russia, where he joined the first division promoted FK Sibir Novosibirsk .
