Tomáš Netík (born April 28, 1982 in Prague , Czechoslovakia ) is a Czech ice hockey player who has been under contract with HC Košice in the Slovakian Extraliga since June 2018 .
Career
Tomáš Netík began his career as an ice hockey player at HC Sparta Prague , for which he was already active in the youth field. For Sparta, the attacker made his debut in the Czech extra league in the 2000/01 season , when he remained pointless and punished in six games. After he became Czech champions for the first time in his career in 2002 , Netík moved during the 2002/03 season to HC Slovan Ústí nad Labem from the second-class first division , for which he was active the following two seasons. Parallel to the game operation in the first division, Netík belonged to the squad of HC Energie Karlovy Vary from the extra league in the 2003/04 season .
Before the 2004/05 season Netík returned to HC Sparta Prague, for whom he has played since then. He won the championship with Sparta in 2006 and 2007, and in the IIHF European Champions Cup 2008 he was the best striker with four goals and the best scorer with seven points and was elected to the All-Star team.
In June 2010 he left his home club and was signed by HK CSKA Moscow from the Continental Hockey League . A year later he moved to HC Lev Poprad within the KHL . For Poprad, he played 42 games in the KHL before he was loaned to Växjö Lakers Hockey in late January 2012 .
From August 2012 Netík was initially under contract with the Bílí Tygři Liberec from the Extraliga, before he was obliged by Neftechimik Nizhnekamsk in October of the same year . He started the 2013/14 season at HC Slovan Bratislava before returning to Neftechimik in December 2013. In June 2014 he received another contract with HC Slovan.
From June 2015 he was again under contract with HC Sparta Prague from the Czech Extraliga and reached the runner-up with Sparta in 2016. In January 2017 he was loaned to HC Oceláři Třinec until the end of the season, before moving to KHL Medveščak Zagreb in the Austrian ice hockey league in June of the same year .
International
For the Czech Republic , Netík took part in the U18 World Junior Championship in 2000 , where he finished sixth with his team.
From 2006 Netík was used in preparation games and tournaments of the Euro Hockey Tour in the men's national team, but never made it into a squad for a men's world championship.
